Senior nutrition is provided by the Department of Aging. The Department of Aging has a central kitchen that prepares lunches daily and delivers them to Anderson Memorial Senior Citizen Center on weekdays other than City of Los Angeles holidays. We have a nutritionist from the Department of Aging serving food to ages 60+ for $3 and $5 for others after all of 60+ are served. Our lunch time is 10:30 am and first come first serve dine in only.

The Department of Recreation and Parks operates 29 senior citizen centers throughout the City. In addition, these centers offer activities, programs, and special events such as shuffleboard, croquet, arts and crafts, zumba, line dancing, language lessons, oil painting, entertainment, and social dancing. Some senior citizen centers offer a nutrition program through the Department of Aging.
