Dog Park and Improvements
PROJECT SCOPE
The Strathern Park West Dog Park and Improvements Project includes the creation of a new off-leash dog park at the north end of the park, featuring separate areas for big and small dogs. The project will include new fencing, a designated path of travel, lighting, landscaping, and an upgraded irrigation system.
Additional dog park amenities include synthetic surfacing, hydration stations, and shade structures for comfort and usability.
Beyond the dog park, the project also includes the construction of a new parking lot, three new basketball courts, and a vehicular turnaround to improve accessibility and overall park functionality.
PROJECT FUNDING
One Million Three Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($1,320,000.00) in Measure A funds.

Parque Canino y Mejoras
ALCANCE DEL PROYECTO
El Proyecto del Parque Canino Strathern Park West y Mejoras incluye la creación de un nuevo parque canino sin correa en el extremo norte del parque, con áreas separadas para perros grandes y pequeños. El proyecto incluirá nueva cerca, un camino de acceso designado, iluminación, paisajismo y un sistema de riego mejorado.
Las comodidades adicionales del parque canino incluyen pavimento sintético, estaciones de hidratación y estructuras de sombra para mejorar la comodidad y usabilidad.
Además del parque canino, el proyecto también incluye la construcción de un nuevo estacionamiento, tres nuevas canchas de baloncesto y un área de retorno vehicular para mejorar la accesibilidad y la funcionalidad general del parque.
